Joe Oswald
Joe Oswald has been teaching United States and Chicago history for over 25 years. He has a master’s degree in history from De Paul University, a master’s degree in educational administration, is an International Baccalaureate certified teacher, and has taught an Advanced Placement research course along with a college-credit Chicago history course.
Joe has written three books, including a book on the history of Chicago’s Beverly/Morgan Park neighborhood published by Arcadia Publishing as part of their Images of America series. He has also written a vocabulary improvement book and a home improvement book, been featured on local and national TV shows, and created two online courses about Chicago history and using GIS digital mapping technology in the classroom that are featured on Udemy.com.
