Allen Salter
Allen Salter (aka Samuel Salter) has published under two pseudonyms. As Sam Reaves he has written crime novels set mostly in Chicago and collaborated on the the true crime memoir Mob Cop with Fred Pascente; as Dominic Martell he has authored a European-based suspense series. Salter has traveled widely in Europe and the Middle East but has lived in the Chicago area most of his life. He has worked as a teacher and a translator; his translation of fellow Midland Authors member Mahmoud Saeed’s novel The World Through the Eyes of Angels won the King Fahd Center for Middle East and Islamic Studies Translation of Arabic Literature Award in 2010.
