Edward E. Gordon

Edward E. Gordon is an internationally recognized writer, researcher, and speaker who is both a historian and a historical economist. His most recent book, Divided on D-Day: How Leadership Failures Threatened the Normandy Invasion (Prometheus Books, 2023) provides insightful answers to the many controversies surrounding the Normandy campaign. He has presented hundreds of historical programs across America to many types of associations and organizations. As a historical economist, he is recognized as an authority on how training and education, talent growth, and career planning relate to business and economic development. Dr. Gordon earned his B.A. and M.A. degrees in history at DePaul University, Chicago, and his Ph.D. at Loyola University Chicago and pursued post-graduate studies at the University of Chicago.
